My throat and chest hurt after yelling, what's wrong?

You should probably see a doctor, it sounds serious. It could be Pharyngitis which can result in very large tonsils which cause trouble swallowing and breathing. Pharyngitis can be accompanied by a cough or fever, for example, if caused by a systemic infection. It sucks. My cousin got it once.
